The RTC Unit serves 12 adolescent males, 12-18 years of age, whose needs require intensive therapeutic intervention, structure, supervision, and behavioral modification within a residential setting.
The goals of the RTC unit are:
- Encourage development in areas of self-esteem, peer interactions, anger management, independent living, substance abuse, feeling identification and expression, and on-going family issues in order to assist residents with the transition from adolescence into adulthood.
- Promote educational success with assistance in areas such as tutoring, GED preparation/completion, high school attendance/graduation, college enrollment or vocational training.
