Public Health Focus

Doctors are focused on individuals, their disease and treatment. In Public Health my focus is on Prevention and Health Promotion.
Some of our activities which promote nutrition and neighborhood gardens are:
  • Veggie Drop: Picks up surplus produce from the W. Lafayette Farmer’s Market on Wednesday and downtown Farmer’s Market on Saturday and distributes it to low income housing, food pantries and other places in need. Volunteers always welcome, please email if interested in helping.
  • Neighborhood Gardens: Located at 629 N 6th Street, and N 6th Street in Lincoln Neighborhood. These gardens are for the residents in the Centennial and Lincoln neighborhood as well as others in need of fresh produce. Check out our community gardens. For more information about the gardens, please call us at 765-423-9222, ext. 5.
