Permitting
Permits are required by the Tippecanoe County Highway Department whenever working in county right of ways or on any county roads. The Tippecanoe County construction standards and specifications must be met, and construction plans must be approved prior to the beginning of work.
The permit is used to help the engineering staff determine the acceptability of the proposed drive entrance and as it relates to county standards. You can now email your permit. Download the 2011 Driveway Permit Guidelines and Standards (PDF) for more information. For permit fees see Permit Fees Ordinance 2002-40-CM (PDF).
