Virtual Resources

The Tippecanoe County Partnership for Water Quality has developed a list of virtual resources to support teachers, students, and families impacted by school closures due to COVID-19.

Virtual Conservation LIVE! 

In May 2019, TCPWQ educators launches a series called "Virtual Conservation LIVE!" to allow specialists from around Tippecanoe County to teach students about various conservation topics. The recordings of these sessions can be found below.

  • Skype A Scientist - Connect with scientists around the world on whatever topic area you or your learner(s) are interested in. Have a 1-on-1 session with a specialist to ask questions, learn about research, and more!
  • TED-Ed - Browse hundreds of short TED-Ed videos that will spark the curiosity of your learners
  • Scholastic Learn at Home - Daily lessons for multiple grade ranges and topic areas. Take quizzes, explore additional learning resources, and more!
  • PBS Learning Media - Full lessons for early and upper elementary students that are compatible with Google Classrooms
  • The Nature Conservancy - Lessons and virtual field trips to natural places around the world!
  • National Geographic Education Resource Library - find full lessons on a variety of subject areas. Early elementary lessons up to high school levels.
