The Tippecanoe County Highway Department will no longer fax road closure
notifications as of January 1, 2018.
We are transitioning to the automated "Notify Me" email/text system as our primary road closure notification method. The system is open to the public and we encourage all stakeholders to share this memo with all potentially affected employees, including but not limited to; First Responders (Sheriff's Deputies, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Personnel), Dispatchers, and School Bus Drivers.
If you do not have access to email or a cell phone, please call Mindy Anderson at (765 423‐9210 by December 1, 2017 so that we can make alternative contact arrangements.
To sign up for notifications please go to the Tippecanoe County "Notify Me" link at http://www.tippecanoe.in.gov/list.aspx to register. After registering for email and/or text messaging, be sure to scroll down to the "News Flash" section and check/select "Road Closures". After completing the registration you will receive a confirmation email and/or text message.
You can always view a full listing of current road closures at: http://www.tippecanoe.in.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?CID=6. At any time during or after your initial registration, please feel free to look through the “Notify Me” list and subscribe to any other Alert or News Flash that you would like to receive from Tippecanoe County Government. Many County Departments have notification information, and you may sign up for as many as you like.
