Community Work Crew
Community Work Crew is the least restrictive Tippecanoe County Community Corrections Program used by the courts. Community Work Crew partners with various county department and local nonprofit agencies. Workers are sent to various sites requested by different organizations within the community. The work includes a wide range of services that includes: picking up trash along the roadsides, helping set up and tear down for nonprofit organization functions and providing seasonal maintenance of property, including:
Participants are supervised by a person from the assigned agency or when working weekends are supervised by a part-time Community Corrections employee. Examples of work completed within Tippecanoe County would be set up and tear down for:
During the summer months work crew provides help for the outside maintenance of properties at:
- Mowing
- Picking up after storm damage
- Weed eating
Event Assistance

- Tippecanoe County Arts Federation annual "Around the Fountain Art Fair"
- Tippecanoe County Cooperative Extension Service "Tippecanoe County 4-H Fair”
- Tippecanoe County Historical Association "Feast of the Hunter Moon"
Park Work
During the summer months work crew provides help for the outside maintenance of properties at:
- Prophetstown State Park
- Tippecanoe County Parks
- Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds
- Clegg Botanical Gardens
